I had the honor of capturing this intimate and beautiful proposal and the one and only Seascape Resort in Santa Cruz. This resort is gorgeous and offers gorgeous views of the beach as well as easy paths to get to the water. Start with your dream location

Ways to determine your location for you and your partners proposal is to search up what will make your album reflect your love. Does the ocean represent your love? Check out Seascape Resort. Their coordinator is hands-on and makes sure everything runs smoothly. The front desk is extremely welcoming and will pump fake if you need to save time. My couple arrived a few minutes early and my couple asked the front desk how to check in to waste time. The lovely coordinator pretended to walk them to their room and brought them to their set up.

I met Adriana in high school and I am so grateful photography has allowed me to upkeep relationships with past acquaintances. When Alex reached out to me there was no way I’d miss this beautiful moment. He had the Seascape Resort ready, the decorators and photographer ready. All he needed was for Adriana to say yes and that she did.

After six years and expecting their first baby, Alex just knew it was time. Adriana’s first words when he was on his knee was ‘finally fool’. To me, that’s REAL love. A love where you can laugh, love, cry and so much more. Honest love makes my job so much easier. My calling is documenting love.

the set up

Another main attraction is the gorgeous set by the @somethingspecialtwins on instagram. The twins often work with the Seascape resort and set up proposals quite often. They are punctual, creative and professional. They spend time perfecting every inch of this set up and that is admirable. The proposal was the day after Valentines, hence the red. endless photo ops

Obviously — we wanted to go down to the beach. With Adriana’s gorgeous outfit and the rain we opted out. Again, Seascape Resorts in Carmel offers easy access trails down to beach. So beach photos after your proposal is always an option. If it’s a little rainy like it was for us this day, no worries. We were able to have access to the resort and balconies. The possibilities are endless at this dreamy resort. There is so much greenery, sand, and cute corners to capture your love. I’d love to say your photos will come out looking like a movie scene. This resort is so beautiful.
